Coupe / cabrio photoshops thread
Now that we have official spy pics of both the coupe and the cabrio, it should be fun to keep a thread of the various photoshops out there.
I'll start us off: |

Holy s&!t that coupe coupe looks nice. Very civilized in the pale green. The only problem is it looks tooooo expensive. Can imagine a car that looks that good coming in at an affordable price point. BMW, please prove me wrong...

Well that depends on what everyone considers affordable. But I think it'll come at a good price point. The reason their bringing this car here is as an introduction bmw under the 3-series so a base model has to be a few thousand cheaper than the cheapest 3-series which is about $32k.. which puts this car probably at $27-28k for a base model.

Hi all. I am new here. I have lately seen more than 10 2-series propolsals, and I can say:
1) Obviosly, that is the only one really based on the spyshots 2) In my opinion, is the best looking of all those proposals. So I am very glad of that coincidence. By the way, anyone knows more or less the size of the car regarding the 1-series hatchback? |

Bryan, that's brilliant. It looks great in blue, too. More than just about any other pic so far, it feeds the imagination for what the production version will look like when we're all driving them around...
Is that you in the drivers seat with the bad comb-over? |

I used the burgundy car as the foundation for that image. Cleaned up the masking tape, added roundels to the wheels and changed the red to blue. It's not the greatest work- I did it like 2 AM this morning (waiting for the mysterious press releases to materialize) on my laptop. I usually do my photo editing work on a 23" screen with a proper mouse, but I was more or less just screwing around. The gas station is in Coalinga, CA. I shot it last month when I was driving the new 5 Series on a press trip. I used it because it kind of reminds me of that "candid" shot of the red coupe in the gas station. Except I left the guy who looks like he just got caught having sex with farm animals.:eyebulge: EDITED: Oh, what the hell!
