What are you talking about?

Do some googling, everything I've ever read has said to put the radar detector as high up on the windshield as you can. Make sure to keep it level and make sure to keep the sensors just below any "eyebrow" OEM or other...

As for the hard-wiring, mine is currently getting power and ground from what I believe is the power/ground for the un-used pre-wired bluetooth microphone in my car. Took me +-30 minutes to figure out, test, install and tape up...

OP - Good Stuff! LOVE THE WHEELS! Great placement on the Garmin, I love OEM navi units (my e46 has one) but as aftermarket units become less expensive, easier to update, and easier to use, I just don't see myself ordering a new car with an OEM unit...

So glad those wheels are standard in Canada with the MSport pack.

... not great shots because of the light but should give you an idea.

261M wheels with RE760 NRF (225s & 255s) installed. Weight difference: about one pound heavier, per wheel: check here for weights:http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ams+135&page=3

He's talking about having his detector mounted on the dash on the drivers side where the OP placed his Garmin, NOT up high on the windshield as pictured in this thread. Mounting the detector up high is a little better for RADAR, but it's worse for LASER. Either location will work fine.

Also, there's a really good DIY thread on the detector installation that points out the specific wire needed, so you don't have to search for it.

Nice AC-Hydraulic floor jack BTW. ;-) I bet that makes short work getting the car off the floor.

Looks awesome. I am thinking about getting 50% all around ceramic as well. How big is the difference or should I get 35%?

I thought the 261Ms were standard on the 135?
Or is that just in Aus?

For those interested in mounting & hard-wiring a radar detector, this DIY thread may prove helpful:
