hah.. I was looking at a carfax of a 135i with 11k mi and it showed a windshield replacement but no accidents. I was wondering why that would be (aside from a rock hit) at such low mileage, maybe this explains it.

Did it one time without thinking. Was lucky though, Was raising it slowly and stopped it when I heard the contact. The worse I got was some topcoat removed on the back edge of the hood. Definately a design flaw in my mind.
