Dude, 3000 miles? It's considered a used car with all abuse from the saleman or fleet managers whatever. I wouldn't pay $35K for a USED 325i with your options. I would place the bet to you that I can get a brand new car with all of your options AND xenon lights for less than $37.5k. Once again, Brand New car. 3kmiles will cost the dealer ~ $5000 depreciation already. If you can afford a $35k for a used car, why can't you afford $2k more for a brand new one with same options?

I think the argument of there are more important options to get other than xenons is just plain bullshit. Its $800 for the upgrade, spread that over 3 years since thats the minimum most of you will be keeping your E90, ends up to about 73 cents a day.

Last night my new ride was passsing through exactly the same portion of very dark highway to my home which I used to drive my Benz. I found the E90 BiXenon is 'better' than the ones on my C-class because the beam range is wider and further i.e. more precise. The E90 beam color leads to yellowish which I guess it is more distinct in foggy situation. The improvement over the C class may be contributed by the adaptive cornering feature too !
I begin to feel I am spoiled by all these wonderful BMW technology.......

As much as I love my xenons, I know that the halogens on the 3 are not short on light either.

3000 miles on a demo car though at that price doesn't sound like a steal to me. Too late for all that though, good luck with the car. Enjoy!

It's still $800 upfront. Way to play devils advocate though . I think all 330I owners are going to happy with their xenons it's a standard option!

I will be the first to admit that they look great. But you can't always find the car with the exact color combo, trim, and option list that you want, there for some compromises need to be made. In my case Sports and Premium > xenon.

If you finance the car which most owners do, then upfront doesnt matter, its the monthly payment that everyone's after. I didnt finance, so it theoretically mattered to me. But I'm not trying to play devils advocate, I'm just stating my opinions and reasoning of the Xenons.

Once you go Xenon, you never go back. I put 4300K HID's into my Integra and NEVER had any regrets about spending the $450 on the kit.

I ordered my car, I didnt have any time constraints on the purchase and had the ability to wait indefinetly. I choose my car to be just that, my car, with everything I wanted and nothing I didnt.

I know what you meant. The feeling is like someone gets 3 Seiko watches instead of a Rolex - he can think of all the brilliant things with his Seiko but in the end...yes, we all know a $100 Seiko watch can do the job of a Rolex but it is still not a Rolex. Okay, it is a high $800 luxury option (and $2500 for us) but we thought that was why we have picked a BMW for?

I agree with you there, I had a Integra GSR with a 6000K kit, boy was it sexy. I am hoping that the aftermarket guys will come out with some alternative headlight options soon so I can go clear and have xenon.

I think wearing an expensive watch is one of the most self-indulgent displays of status around. Not knocking people who appreciate them as art and jewelry and choose to spend money on them - but don't expect me to be impressed. I also didn't buy my car so others would approve, and I've had Xenons before and don't now.

If it was that easy it wouldnt be a problem. There is not a car in a 100 mile radius with the options that I want w/xenons. Its not a big deal around here. I am not going to order a car and wait because I do not have that time. Most of you just assume we cant afford it, but I will tell you that is not the case.

I'd suggest looking around junk yards for rear end and side collisions.

Much better and more efficient output.

Clear is overratted.

Amber creates a nice contrast! Besides, its a lot easier to find it here than there...
