Are the current BMW USA lease offers a good value?

I'm specifically looking at the 2011 128i convertible.

I've never leased a vehicle, just curious if these BMW lease specials are an easy, no hassle way to get a decent lease without negotiation, or if it's common to do better. I have a call into the dealer to get the details from them which I will update the post with, but thought it might be common knowledge if these are reasonable or not.

Understand that not all qualify. Credit history and other factors like age can affect the amount you pay. Good luck finding a $39K 128. Additionally if you add the 3k+ the real rate is another $100 per month. Now add tax. I see you are from Wa like me. Add another 10% a month. One series cars are generally scarce here. Go to the dealer and get the info. This means in person and talk to a real CA who can give you the figures. Hope you drive fewer than 10K a year?

Somewhat along the same lines, I finally leased my first BMW (2011 128) this weekend, but was told that I couldn't do MSDs (in VA), when I inquired about it. I know some states don't allow it, but I didn't think VA was one of them. The finance person kept saying the security deposit was waived because of my credit (maybe the paperwork would have been too cumbersome?) I'm not complaining per se, the whole experience was rather pleasant actually.

I think you'll be able to.. I am about to lease a 2011 135i.. and they gave me 2 options for the cheapest.. I have 1 that has most the packages for $41,700 and another with only the m-sport and few other accessories for $39,500. So on a 128.. I think you should be able to find one for that price.
