I just installed mine today. Passenger side headlight was a MAJOR bitch. Took me a good amount of time to get that cover back on the right way.
The lights look really nice but aren't very bright during direct sunlight, but I I knew this going in. I am going to take some more pics tomorrow in the sunlight so you all can see more. |

I've had nasty weather today so I haven't been able to take some pics of the car like I wanted to. I snapped these quickly last night when it was overcast. They look great! The inner halo doesn't show up well when I photographed it (it looks way brighter in the pics).

V3's are the current version. I don't think there is a planned upgrade soon. |

Sweet, Im courious to see the direct sunlight photos tough... Everybody complains aftermarket AE dont look bright enough at direct sunlight, but last week I notice that even the stock AE in REAL direct sunlight are barely visible, and mainly because of the temperature.
I like how they look anyways, Im gonna have Lux V3's. |

Hi All. to answer some questions:
The most current version is LUX H8 V3, and we do not have any plans to change versions. You may send your kits back to upgrade the Power supply to the newest version. the V3 power supply will allow for no external wiring and you can hide the power supply inside the headlight housing Our website has information on how to upgrade the power supply if you are interested. or send me a PM. Thanks!

The build quality of these are AWESOME! Once you receive them and feel the weight of them, you will see what I'm talking about. Plus, Marc is an absolute pleasure to work with!

I'm still keen to see some direct sunlight pics too, but on the face of it they look pretty good. I have had GP Thunder and Weislight (LED) in mine so far and currently running "Arc Angel's" and they are pretty good just don;t like the way they dim with main lights on so I am looking for the very, very best LED option that is better than the Weislight (or however it's spelt)

The LUX is the best as of right now. Still though, there are no LED upgrades that are very bright during direct sunlight due to the design of the reflectors in our headlights.
