Black 528i exhaust tips for 128i?

Hey everyone,

Saw a 528 with the M-Sport package today and noticed it has black exhaust tips.

Does anybody know if these would fit on a 128?

I painted my covers gloss black for my 128 and it looked the same

I got 135i exhaust tips on my 118d

They´re also black...

No. My 128 came with silver covers... I went to autozone and got a black chrome gloss paint kit for around 20$

How do you paint them? Did you remove the bumper or exhaust and paint?

I am guessing you had to sand the old exhaust?

The silver covers on mine slipped off. You just pull them off and then sand down fine-medium and paint. I don't have pics because since then I upgraded to the BMW PE and they took my old exhaust
