New E92 Influenced by Ford's Mustang?

Is it just me, or does the new E92 coupe resemble the Ford Mustang? What are your thoughts?

Yeah, the e92 seems to be a mix of Ford Mustang and Vovlo xc90 put together.

Look at the body style on the E90 Home page. It reminds me of the Mustang!

Yeah, you're right!

They're both cars!.. Right?

Geesh, im so tired of these comments. I wonder when the fashion industry will be the same.. "Doesnt those arms on that sweater remind you of that D&G t-shirt from 1982?"

Definitely, the 335 E92 and Mustang STI are near clones that cannot be visually distinguished -- when you stomp on the gas and are in a huge cloud of tire smoke!

It's just you. Yes, they are both RWD coupe's, but that is where the similarity ends.

The Mustang is a modern interpretation of a Detroit classic, built on a budget.

The E92 is the next link in the chain of the history of the Ultimate Driving Machine.

Think Jennifer Aniston vs Angelina Jolie. Yes, they have similar parts, but rather different personalities.

Sorry, I've owned a 1967 and a 1977 Mustang, and have long since been a Mustang Fan, but I don't see Mustang in the E92 anymore than I see Whoppie Goldberg in Angelina Jolie.

Quite frankly I'd hate the idea of any car I owned being based off of a ford
