OT: Expensive triple

Hi guys,

Anyone like to ID the types and cost of the below triplet set? Not often we get to see a lineup like this in sleepy old Perth:

HI res version available here: http://SimonB.zenfolio.com/img/v24/p18527867.jpg if needed for the Porsche.

1st one's an M5 (according to the badge, but I know how unreliable that can be). I'm pretty sure then 2nd's a 740, from the quick look I got as he sped off, bit no idea of the Porsche...

Was this actually a challenge? I thought everyone could name these cars but with a large picture to identify the "Porsche" and a suggestion of an M5 I'm not so sure...

If this is not a joke then I am lost for words.

M6 - due to lack of foggies and 'M' side grille
730d/740i/750i due to lack of V12 badge so cannot be 760i

Oh come on guys - the Porsche was a silly brain fade, I knew it was a Ferrari.

As for the M6 and the 740, not all of us on this forum are knowledgeable enough to ID every BMW on the road, I was walking past and just glanced at the apparent M6 and thought it was an M5 badge. So, Jeef Beef & SBC, sorry for appearing to be joking, but was a serious query from someone not as good as you.

I thought you were taking the piss It was just my assumption on a car enthusiast forum regarding knowledge of those cars, I apologise if that caused any offence.

You have to understand your on a forum full of BMW enthusiasts who can look at most BMW's and tell you what they are and why. The M6 can easily be identified by the M grill on the side and the fact that its a 2 door not a 4 door (:. can't be an M5).

I agree though, it's easy to not know when you haven't been fantasising about cars since you were young, like most of us on these forums.

The M6 is also distinguishable by the face that only its mother could love

Cool guys, I guess it's just a reminder that all the members on here aren't fanatics (not meant in a derogatory fashion). I have a 135i and love it, I'd love an Mx but don't know if it'll ever happen...

Anyway, thanks for the explanation - now back to scheduled programming :-)

Orchard Rd Hilton, Singapore, about 18 months ago when I was there... I don't even want to think how many $$$ this would be over there considering a basic Corolla is something like $60k + COE

Singapore prices and taxes are insane. There was an article in a magazine a few months ago saying an HSV is like $AUD 380 000 once on road in Singapore. Lucky we can look to them to make ourselves feel better. No more looking at US markets.

Where can they drive these in Singapore? Everything is so restrictive there. Just status symbols.

Wow... nice pics Micky! Your lucky day.

These were taken at the Mall of Emirates in Dubai, at the valet parking entrance...
