CBL117's Latest Dyno Results - Dinan S2 + Bolt Ons

Hey guys. Took my car to EAS today in Anaheim for a full brake service and had a chance to get some dyno results.

351 WHP
387 WTQ

Was a great Socal morning. Sunny, cool, mid 70s.

Specs:
N54 - Walnut Blast, New Injectors, New Plugs
Dinan Stage 2 Tune
Dinan Intercooler
BMS DCI
N55 Midpipe (Secondary Cat Delete)
BMWP Y-Pipe (Resonator Delete)
Berk Street Axle Back
95 Oct Gas

Please don't make this about tune wars. We've all been over it before. The guys who have been around the forum a while know I am not looking for extreme numbers and wanted a conservative tune with bolt ons until I'm out of CPO, car is paid off and not my only DD. Anyway, I was very happy with the results. I came in expecting ~340whp so to see 351whp was icing on the cake. The torque is just killer! I wasn't expecting it to be that high and flat.

Heres the screen shot:

I dont have a baseline but i do have a midpoint. With just the tune, N55 midpipe and berk axle back i was making 316 whp and about 363 wtq on pump gas.

Oh wait, you mentioned 2 dynos so i guess you already knew about the midpoint lol. I wish i would have taken a baseline. Oh well.

Was that on the same dyno? 40 whp from intercooler and intake only sounds excessive

Different Dyno. In addition to intake and intercooler the other differneces are higher octane gas, fresh walnut blast, new injectors, new plugs and resonator delete. Sum of all the parts. Both places were dynojet. I understand there are slight variations between places.

Why use 95 octane on a dinan tune? Wouldn't you make the exact same power on 93 octane since that is what they tune for?

Looks good! TQ drop and bump around 4.2k, relatively small though.

How's it feel?

Thanks! Yeah I noticed that too with the TQ. It does seem consistant though. Any ideas what that could be?

The car feels great. It behaves as plotted. I get the power surge starting around 2.5k that becomes relentless until about 5.5k then you start to feel things taper off after. I usually shift around 6k-6.5k. The HP curve looks very broad and smooth. Seems to hold the power out to redline better than some other plots I've seen.
