A sad day - no more BMWP SSK for the n54 135i!
I'm really really sad today. It appears that BMW has discontinued the 135i N54 Short Shift Kit. In addition, the shift lever can no longer be purchased, also unavailable. What to do now - was ready to punk down some coin for the kit and really wanted to stay with BMW parts. What are other using to get rid of that sloppy stock shifter on the n54 135i?

FWIW I got the BMS kit, on a whim, now I'm not even sure if I want to replace it because I can just shift it with my thumb and pointer and a flick of the wrist when driving normally.

If you think the 135 has a sloppy shifter you should try driving Japanese cars haha. My civic and evo needed a short shifter just for daily driving. The 135 feels nice in comparison to those cars. I'd have to try one I guess, but its not THAT bad without it.

I still mourn the loss of the shifter feel from my Honda.

I really like the B&M short shifter a lot. I drove back to back vs BMW performance. I would choose B&M felt crisper for some reason lol.
