Spark Plugs to use in a N55 with tune

Has anyone compared the performance of OEM spark plugs vs NGK in an N55 that has a tune producing 330+ whp?
At what level if any would it be better to use the NGK's.

Stick with OEM or equivalent. N54 and N55 spark plugs are slightly different.

I run a stage 2 agressive custom tune, and I changed them recently, and stuck with OEM equivalents. Some use cold spark plugs with tuned cars, but I dont think it makes much of a difference, and may even lead to misfires.

With tuned engines, you need to plan for frequent replacement of stock plugs, around every 20-30,000Kms (12,000-20,000Miles). It's easy as a DIY with a proper socket for N54/N55 engines. Plan for a 45-minute job, most of which is spent removing/installing/displacing cowls, cables, and covers ...

Just to add to this thread:

What about gapping the OEM spark plugs if needed?

Its pretty much impossible to gap the multi electrode spark plugs bmw uses. Just buy new spark plugs from a BMW dealer and be done with it. There is no real performance to be had by changing spark plug manufactures or types.

Also look at this thread by PTF:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1185946

They recommend using N20 plugs, gap "it down to 0.018-0.022" for high boost"
