P/S Reservoir Leak

At my last track event at NCM Motorsports Park, my power steering reservoir was spewing fluid out from the cap. Has anyone else ever had this problem? It has not happened since then while daily driving. I'm trying to decide whether it is just a problem with the cap/reservoir, or whether its a larger problem with cooling the p/s fluid enough.

Thoughts?

I’ve had this issue even with a new reservoir. My fix was putting a black sock over it.

The cap has a vent in it. It's designed to do this. It's a mess. Many cars and motorcycles have these issues, which is why people put exercise bands on the tops of the reservoirs.

Ok thanks for the feedback. Any other thoughts on a fix to this issue?
