Park button function with DCT at the track

Sorry if duplicated. I looked for a few hours and couldn't find it.

With DCT, how does the Park "P" button stop and hold the car?

I plan to take the car to road america this year for a school and don't want to melt my break pads to the rotors by putting the car into park after a session if it uses the disc break system.

thanks!

found it!

it's a separate mechanical pin that locks at the transmission. No break pad worries.
