Reaaalllyyy... I wonder what happened...

Btw, I saw Will again today at the barber shop. We seem to run into each other there all the time. There was another JB or similar 135i on Spang, but it wasn't Will or Marcus.

Yeah, he's a cc in the 22nd. He was at the ring today. Dented his bumper pretty badly. He's already got a new one on the way though. I always forget his name. I told him to quit lurking around here and register.

Ouch... that definitely had to hurt. Anyway, it would be nice to have another 1er owner on board, if he ever decides to register. We all need to go for a cruise somewhere and have some lunch or something.

On a side note, I'm going to pickup my 1er tomorrow (16 Oct)! Glen called me with the good news late this afternoon, so I'm pretty stoked. Hopefully I can make some time to get down there.

Picked up the 1er this afternoon! Can't say enough great things about what I've experienced so far. The only issue I have is the condensation inside the headlights. I called Glen and he asked me to swing by Schaal and ask for Sashcha or Frank. Has any of you experienced this at all?

Marcus, I'm probably heading down to Spang this Saturday anyway. What time are you going to be at the hobby shop?

Yup I have condensation in my drivers side. Another person on spang has it also. Schaal blew me off and said it was normal. Can't stand that place, Sascha and Alex are the only ones I trust. German customer service FTL.

Whats up my fellow 1er's! I have had my car since the the 1st of Sept. Hell of a car. I'm at Spang also, I work at Hanger 1. I might swing by on Sat just to say whats up and help turn a wrench or just talk cars.

I'm getting my software updated and was thinking about switching to German for the voice control, partly because my UK English version sucks at dialing numbers. How do you all like your German voice control? Does it work reasonably well? Does the voice sound OK? Is it a male or a female voice?

Sorry I couldn't make it... I woke up late and then had a fight with the wife.

Anyway, Service Credit Union sent me an email about a car show between the 22 - 30 of this month. I don't think it's a car show where everyone brings their cars as opposed to a showcase of new cars for sale. Anyone know the details?

Hey Marcus, I saw you the other day at the roundabout then towards the shoppette. Nice job on the suspension work, btw. It's not overly aggressive, yet it still stands out nicely.

So... this morning was a terrible morning for me... a family of pigs came out of the side of the road and, of course, they just dart out without hesitation. Low and behold - BAM! The car's not too badly damaged, but right now I can't estimate the extent of the damage. Car will be taken to BMW, as I will never trust USAA's recommended repair shop, especially with a technologically new car. I'll post some pictures later tonight.

Come to think of it, this thread should be under "Kill Stories"...
