Not me.

I recall at a German 1 series forum(and I posted about it here a few months ago) some guys from Tuningwerks Germany have a N54 running 640BHP crank but at some tuning/trackday @ Hockenheim last summer(?) they had 740BHP, but the swb car wasn't really driveable anymore they stated.

The whole point was I guess, their shootout laptimes were maybe not that bad for a 1M, but for a 1M with 740BHP they were not very interesting at all.

But this info(correct me if I'm wrong) I have filtered from one of those guys. So I'm assuming also.

Not the 740BHP part though....

Cheers
Robin

A guy in Martinique has one of those single turbo kits on his. I was heckled out of the thread by people that have probably never owed a 600 HP car or driven a 1M because I said it was going to be a death dealer.

I read the thread and you were instigating and not providing anything of real meaning. 600whp in this car is crazy but to me it seemed like you were taking a run at Vishnu.

I threw that it was a bad idea out there, then responded to the posts in the same demeanor as they were presented to me. Which is why I got more hostile and sarcastic as the thread progresses. So yes, by the end I was just f'ing with people because I was bored.

You're probably going to be looking at numbers similar to single turbo 335i's due to the use of the same engine. PM Shiv, he would be the one to ask for more info about that car.

Stock 335s have more restrictive downpipes which would account for some of the difference in power.

Just for future reference since you guys were not around in the old days. 335s would dyno a few more hp/tq than 135s with the same mods due to better flowing dual exhausts. 135s would track better launch/0-60 times but top speeds in the quarter would be a tad higher with 335s due to better aerodynamics.

I have no idea and am not trying to get into whether the 1M N54 is different. But the 135/335 N54s pretty much max out in the 400whp/wtq range without fuel/methanol modifications. I'd generally say meth and a system designed to properly utilize it might gain another 50hp. Some of these E85 numbers seem a little hard to believe and it seems too many complications come from that to me.

As long as it manages to put the power down and can be driven, it's powerful.

Seems like the 521 hp 1M is putting down power pretty good!

With just a tune and mid pipes I put down 368whp and 424wtq on a Dyno Dynamics in 50 degree weather. I then added Akra DP's and gained more power according to my butt dyno.
