N55 EU5 injector question

So, I am getting ready to replace injectors on my 2012 135i. On the N54 injectors it was critical that the end seal not be exposed and allowed to expand before installation so it had a cover on the new injector that covered the tip and the seal. On these new EU5 injectors, the cover is only on the tip. They are in a bag but it isn't vacuum sealed or anything. Anyone with experience installing these injectors have the background on this? Is my concern no longer a thing with the newer injector types?

Looked at the BMW manual...looks like the only restriction is that they are one time use only.
