SIB 12 09 12 doesn't work on my 2011 because I have a Bosch computer?
Hi guys,
I took in my 2011 DCT regarding the stalling issues , etc that pertained to that SIB and I'm being told it's not relative to my car because I have a Bosch computer? I'm pretty frustrated by this as I've only driven it for 2 weeks and it stalled on me 4 times. If you guys happened to be in So Cal and had this issue fixed, could you guys let me know which dealer and service advisor? I found another SIB named SIB-61-08-12 but I can't find the exact details to it. All i could find is this " Bmw: service action: program control units. Software needs to be updated with the latest version of ista activee to improve drivability characteristics" |

I decided to call BMW corporate and let them know. Supposedly they'll have the engineers contact the dealership on this. We'll see.
The car shouldn't be stalling. |
