SIB 12 09 12 doesn't work on my 2011 because I have a Bosch computer?

Hi guys,

I took in my 2011 DCT regarding the stalling issues , etc that pertained to that SIB and I'm being told it's not relative to my car because I have a Bosch computer?

I'm pretty frustrated by this as I've only driven it for 2 weeks and it stalled on me 4 times.

If you guys happened to be in So Cal and had this issue fixed, could you guys let me know which dealer and service advisor?

I found another SIB named SIB-61-08-12 but I can't find the exact details to it.

All i could find is this " Bmw: service action: program control units. Software needs to be updated with the latest version of ista activee to improve drivability characteristics"

I decided to call BMW corporate and let them know. Supposedly they'll have the engineers contact the dealership on this. We'll see.

The car shouldn't be stalling.

Got mine updated at bmw Encinitas. I provided them a copying of the sib and they took care of the rest

what month was your car produced? I don't believe the dealership about the dme cause it matches the exact symptoms I have.

Car was built November 2010.

After calling BMW Corporate yesterday, the dealer got a call approving the update. Let's see if they take care of it.

Such a pain for something simple.
