EndOfAnEra's Sparkling Graphite 135i Build
I'd like to introduce myself and my car to 1addicts
I purchased my 135i back in July of '16 from BMW of Gwinnett in ATL. Some of you guys might have seen me over on e90post the last couple of years (had an E92). I've also had a couple of S2000's, one of which was featured by Stancenation http://www.stancenation.com/2011/05/...tch-necessary/ Anyway, I absolutely love this 135i. I smile every time I get behind the wheel. I haven't really done a good job of photographing everything I've done so far, but I'll definitely do a better job from here on out. Driving back to Tampa from ATL! July 23rd A clean engine bay but dirty filters Year One Of The 1 Purchased the gloss black "135i" from Bimmian Installed some BMW Performance gloss black kidney grilles In September I attended a Cars & Coffee and snapped a couple of pictures I also started to wrap my Grey Poplar, I thought gloss black would be a good choice! Last month I did a full detail with claybar, random orbital w/ Menzerna, and finished with some Wolfgang sealant. and then this happened Wheel swap! Anthracite Apex EC-7 18x8.5 +45 F & R This past Monday (12/26) I did the spark plugs and valve cover gasket. What a PITA

Just a few hours ago I finished swapping out the OEM pads with Cool Carbons
I've had them for like 2 months and just haven't had time to put them on. I used some P21S and Sonax to clean the calipers/wheel wells thoroughly (my OCD is pretty bad ) Here are some pics! Here's to minimal dust - Chris

Thanks!
I am slowing finishing my interior wrap. A few days ago I finished the ashtray cover and surrounding trim, all that's left is the shifter trim.

What size tires are you running on the Apex wheels?

Thank you!
F 215/40/18 R 245/35/18 I plan on either going with a square tire setup or ordered 2 18x9.5 +58 for the rears to keep a staggered setup.

Blacklines look great. Recently picked some up as well -- they really update the rear end.

About a week or two weeks ago I amazingly found another 1 series owner locally on Craigslist that was looking to sell his Coral Red interior. After much back and forth, it worked out where we traded each other! The swap didn't take too long, and I am so happy to have CR interior!!!

Welcome to 1Addicts!
PS: When I read your thread title I was kind of expecting to see some carnage on the death of an 1er. Glad to see, its only your user name!

How did you remove this piece? Did you have to remove the entire center console?
