who drifts their 1er?

I've taken the 1er out to several drift events now each one progressing with mods making the experience more and more enjoyable in this awesome chassis! just curious to see who else is out there drifting the 1 series?

here is a few pics of my 2011 n55 mt 135i from the most recent event.
I'll try to get some videos up of the tandem runs, these cars are natural tire slayers

The dish on those Work Equips is pretty badass. Mind me asking what your tire and wheel sizes/offsets are?

No, because there's no convenient space/area to practice it in the summer months.

I just followed you on instagram like yesterday, and surprise the first post I find today is your car haha. I've got a Mustang for drifting, not drifting the 1 since I've just got the stock diff in it. Fun in the snow though!

That would be fun... I'm currently imagining a tandem 1-series drift and the mind visual looks sweet
I have a feeling I'll have to improve a bit to hang with you. Started drifting last year and still learning to do it properly and consistently. Would love to see video of yours if you have any!

How did you fit 9.5" wheels in the front - custom widebody work?

they fit just fine, bolt em on throw a little camber in the front and your good to go. depending on how low you are wanting to go maybe a little fender rolling. I'll try to get a vid this weekend There is an event on Monday

Wow, my apex 8.5" wheels with 235/40 rub quite a bit with -2.4 camber and only about an inch drop in ride height. At the track, my front bumper comes apart and sticks out at the fender ends due to hard rubbing. This is with fender rolling and bumper tab shaved. Well good to know the 9.5" stretches the 235 tires low enough to avoid contact -
awesome it fits! Plans to try 255 on it next?

How was Monday's event? I should have a video of my recent visit to the skidpad soon

switching to 255s might be something here in the near future.
Mondays event went really shitty in the beginning, the stock ebrake in this thing can be a real prick even when you adjust it, halfway through the day i finally got it to feel right and started linking the track up.

short clip of me in a tandem chasing down a corolla, he wasn't to happy with me chasing him.
start at 2.05

ill update if i find any more video of the car.
For now I left the car with a good friend of mine to finish the dual caliper bracket and hydro ebrake install. I'm leaving for 4 months for work mods coming in this time will be Wisefab e90 steering angle kit, Top Mount Borgwarner and some other things.
