Just bought a 2013 135is n55 7/spd dual clutch. Wondering where to start modding out the car.

Beautiful car. Depends on what you want out of it. That's a rare car that I would be hesitant to mod to the moon. I'd say refresh the suspension as needed, for sure look into RSFB (Rear subframe bushings, massive upgrade on these cars) and some basic engine bolt ons with a mile tune and enjoy the hell out of it.

Since its new to you, but not a new car, I would start by cleaning it. I mean Really clean it, like grab a tooth brush clean. Engine Bay, all the jams, Lift the car and scrub the underside, etc..

I would try to get those 313s back to their original condition.

Word thanks. I’m probably not gonna do anything crazy to it but I know it’s got more in it than to let it sit stock.

yep. what all these guys said. I was buying and doing random stuff. If I was to do it again, I would start with a plan. And, I would sort the suspension 1st.

First, replace the rear subframe bushings with M3 bushings. You’ll love it as both ends of the car will stop at the same time and cornering becomes more predictable. Next, ditch the run-flat tires. I’ve run my Michelin Pilot Sports for 12 years without any issues. If it’s still available, get a mild tune such as the BMW level 1 flash. You’ll love the new burble sound.
