Any Matt Black 1'ers?

someone painted their z3m coupe matte black semi-recently. I remember in the thread how he was saying that you couldn't wax it because it would essentially polish the clear coat and you'd be back to a gloss finish again... that seems like a HUGE issue for maintenance.

I dont like the rear of that Audi, the Carrera GT's rear looks 100% better... the SLR also should not be parked by those cars lol and the Ferrari looks clean to!

Other then that amazing pictures, the 135i looks clean in Matte Black but under certain lighting only i think..

mmm I'm not sure aobut that... I was reading this one site that had a company that could do the matte finish paint and it would require the same maintenance as if you had regular paint. I'll try to dig it up

see that makes more sense to me as well.... i suppose in theory it could be the case, but WHY would someone do this to their car if they could never rub on it? I'll try to dig up that thread i was talking about too...

From www.FoilAcar.com, Dubai. I dont know the exact price, but what i hear is that they go up to $3000 for the CF.

Also the BSAF matte colors are just like any other paint, just wash. A lot of the racecars here in Germany have matte finishes and they get DIRTY but come clean as normal.
