Carbon Hood & Trunk Emblems
Pair of them listed here on eBay.
I popped the hood and trunk, and installation does not look so "easy". Anyone change their emblems yet, and have any advice on "how to" ? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEWA:IT&ih=006 |

I've done the hood, but not the trunk. It's actually quite easy, but be patient... Set a rag down on the hood and then use something to pry up and out of the holes. Be mindful of the paint both around and under the emblem.
Good luck!

The front emblem has posts. When I look underneath the hood I "think" I see where the posts are. Are they painted over?
As for the rear one, can I assume it does not use posts and is just stuck on there with 2 sided tape? |

Hood will work, the trunk is 1-series specific that does not share with any other vehicle, I doubt any eBay vendor will be carrying them soon.
