Even if it's released in Germany it doesn't mean they are coming to the states.

I hope all of this is true! I talk with higher up people as well and I haven't been able to confirm any of this

I would go for the CF roof and bonnet. 2300 euro is a lot of money though, and I am assuming labour will be double that again!

Prof, $4k for the roof, $6k for install. $10k for cf roof? No thanks. I rather use that money for a very good cage.

I can´t believe BMW will bring a CF roof. It´s a complete different way of building the car so they would have to rebuild the production line. And all that just for some crazy

guys who would love to have one?
no way in my oppinion (just for the roof)!

I agree, where is the CF roof info coming from? I heard BMW is going to put the V10 from the M5 into the new 150i vert!

The info came from my dealer who today told me that it will only be offered for the 3 series. Also met someone else who confirmed this (thru a different source). I gave the dealers a warning that anymore nonsense like this and they will not be refferred by me any more. Sorry guys. I thought they knew for sure since they quoted me the price and all. But i will be the first to report any other CONCRETE findings I may come across at the Essen Motor Show coming up. My apologies again.
