I have a brand new set, never used Brembo 6 piston front BMW Performance brake kit. The kit includes everything to bolt right up including: Heat sheilds, pads, mounting braket for 128i's, and brake pad sensors. I never installed them due to not being able to find rear cross drilled and slotted rotors to match the front rotors. There's 2 minor spots/ imperfections on one of the calipers that has been touched up with color matched ceramic paint. I'm asking $900 shipped which is a great deal being that they cost well over $1,200+ brand new.

128i owners: I also have new color matched (stock) rear calipers and stock rotors and pads if interested.

Great deal! I would purchase but considering my spending habits in Europe right now I am thinking that when I get back to the states and GA specifically I will have 0 money left...

Apologies for the noob question but what is the difference between these brakes and the ones that come on the 135i?

Im selling them because no company offers a cross drilled and slotted rear rotors for the 128i. Its not a real big deal to not match the front and rear rotors to some, but I think I rather have the extra cash to put into my 370z:-)

I dont think the 135i has 6 pistons in the calipers and the rotors are cross drilled and slotted and these are brembo's also. Maybe someone will chime in with other differences.

the only difference with the 135i brakes are the rotors

the calipers are the same to my understanding.

Wow, didnt think the stock 135i calipers had 6 pistons. You sure? Im sure there is a pretty big difference being that my friends 135i brakes are not impressive at all. Do you know if brembo makes the stock caliper for the 135i?

I am not sure how many piston it was but during my research of wanting to get the performance I realise there was no point I would be buying the same calipers (with the performance yellow - which was what I wanted it for).

Most 135er owner just change to the performance rotor and yes I am pretty sure brembo makes the stock the caliper.

I had a feeling the only difference were the rotors; Brembo does in fact make the brakes on the 135i because I have seen the Brembo stamp on them. Next time I take off a wheel, I'll take a picture of the Brembo stamp on the caliper.

The Calipers on a stock 135 are 6 piston Brembos. and the rotors on a stock 135 are solid surface and MORE importantly the rotor disc is part of the hub...

The performance BMW Big Brake kit are Brembo 6 piston calipers w/standare 135 pads. In my opinion, the ROTOR is the big deal. It is not only cross drilled and has a vented surface, but the Disc is seperated (Floating) from the rotor hub on Pins.( ala M3 rotors) This allows the rotor surface to disapate heat faster as there are more openings / vents and less surface area to cool down.

for 128 owners who track there car, its a great upgrade, as the weight of the 128 is less than the 135 and the brakes are equal to or better than a 135. also as a 128 is a bit slower on the staraights ( weare talking max 15 to 20 mph depending on the straight away) we can brake deeper into the corners and "catch" a 135 in the corners..

just my .02 and yes I have theses on my car

Have you looked at these?
I purchased them for my G35 Coupe before I sold it. Very nice quality!

The brake kit is sold.

DriveHard, I have a extra can of the ceramic color matched paint. It's spray and 1 can is good for 5 coats per caliper with a bunch of paint left over. It's from a auto paint shop and is high quality, not like what you would buy at autozone, etc.
