Does anyone run 19's?
1. With direct fitment
2. No fender modifications 3. No rubbing 4. What tire sizes with no rubbing? 5. Possibly pics (from the side, front, or back to see if wheel sits flush) I am starting to really regret my decision to go with 19" wheels. |

Adrean, as much as you track your car, I'd get 18's if I were you. Of course offset is the main issue with rubbing, but 18's are gonna be lighter, have more tire options, cheaper tires, ride better, etc.
Notice how many with 19's are running 245/35 rears which is distinctly taller than what they have on the front because you can't find many 255/30's. Plus who really wants to run 30 profiles on Atlanta streets. I put 235/35's up front and I think they are too tall for how far I'm lowered so I'll probably go back to 225's on my next set. Of course I also love my 19's but if I had not found them I'd definitely be on some Volk or Advan 18's. John is right though, when I had the size tires he has my speedometer did seem much more accurate.

Then why you rubbing lol.. you should be able to get 9.0 in the back and run at least a 255/30/19 tires.. or just go with what would work for sure the 245s but i wanted something wider...

I am supposedly 9.0 in the back and have run two different sets of 255/30/19 tires and still rub....now the rub I am getting is not the inner portion of the fender liner rub...it is right at the outside edge of the fender by a good half inch...enough so that I am cutting tires... I will try to post a pic... |

I ordered the Roderick Cinque wheels. 19x8.5 et45 front and 19x9.5 et48 rears. as for the tires, that's the thing i'm confused on. I dont really know what to get. I'm on stock suspension so that should help me with the rubbing. |

The offset looks too low. If your wheels are 19x9, then you should have no problems fitting 255/30, provided your offset is high enough. My guess is that they manufactured the wheels using an offset that would provide as big a lip as possible and look flush, not provide the best fitment or performance. You can thank the hellaflush crowd for leading the "form over function" trend.
Good luck. I really liked those wheels and hate to hear that they don't provide correct fitment. |

the reason you are rubbing is because your tire is way too thick and meaty. you either need to switch to a 245 or to a brand that had more rounded sidewalls

2. Look at the lip of the rim in the photos above...it comes out to far...that would tell me the offset is slightly wrong... |

I love the look of those wheels...something different than the CSL style wheels that everyone seems to have. I think that we need one of the tire and wheel vendors to chime in and give us some expert advice.

Wishbone, that's a similar setup to what a lot of us run. On the stock suspension you'll have few options. Where you'll have to be very careful is if you lower. I'd for sure try to get a 255/30 rear in a tire that tends to run small. That pretty much means Toyo T1r's to me. I'd use 225/35 fr to play it safe but a Toyo 235/35 will work also.
Adrean, I'm confused. I thought you asking about what to buy. As for your wheels, no doubt they are great looking but also no doubt they did not provide you good offsets. There have been others with custom wheels that had the same problem. I bet much of the problem comes from the fact that it's just hard to get a wheel to look good when you make the offset in the +52 kind of range.
