function of fuse 5?
Today a blew out my cig. Lighter fuse on my 135i. But with replacing it I pulled a wrong fuse and now I don't know where it came from. So I left it out. It seems that everything is still working. I think it is fuse 5 because there are only two 10A fuse in this block. Does anybody know what fuse 5 is for?

I don't think it was 5 either. So now I have a fuse of 10A and I don't know where it came from. Does anybody with a 2009 135I have a picture of their fusebox? Maybe I can locate it in this way.

I just had to replace fuse #8 this weekend as well (my wife somehow blew it but is playing dumb). Luckily I used this thread:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...diy+fuse+panel Which links to the pics that may help you here: http://kfiducia.com/V1Install/ Using that and the card reference, hopefully you can figure out where to put this fuse. Please note I believe the fuse box setup will be HEAVILY dependent on your options. My 08 135i did not match up to the ones in the pics above if memory serves me correctly. I have most all options except nav and heated seats. Attached is a highlighted card reference to make finding 10A mini fuses easier |
