A 1 Series worst nightmare!!!

I was driving on I70 West from Ft. Leonard Wood to Ft. Lewis and just got into Colorado, an hour east of Colorado Springs and got caught in a hail storm with softball size hail! There was over 20 other cars just stopped in the middle of the road. My baby was destroyed! But thanks to BMW Winslow for their outstanding job for restoring my baby back to new! Please beware viewing these pics might be painful to all you fellow 1 series bimmer owners!

Wow... glad you came out ok! If they broke through the rear window that means they could have killed someone!

How did BMW cover that if you dont mind me asking?

you sure you were not under an osage orange tree?? Never seen anything that bad from hail....Thankfully your car looks great again and no one was hurt...

Holy crap it looks like you got shot at. Glad the front windshield seemed to hold up better then the back, at least she is looking like new again.

my insurance covered it. plus the BMW shop worked with my insurance to make sure everything was covered under the cost cap since it was so new of a car

i actually had one come through the back window and bounce of my motorcycle helmet and bruise up my entire shoulder blade. i had glass all over my face. i kinda just put my face in my hands and just waited for it to end. i was really shocked that the windshield didnt fall! the only thing holding up the back was the tint!

damn lol. i too would have pooped in my pants. glad things worked out for u in the end. also, if u put a frame around ur front license plate it would look 100000x better

I probably said OMG 3x every pix. Since you got 11 pix, that makes it 33 in total. But that was all erased when I saw the very last one. Glad you made it alright and so it the car.

Haha I thought It was a drive by too. My friend go a bullet through the windshield into the dashboard of his X5.

Did they replace the hood etc or pull out the dents?
