Also a big fan of my Falken Azenis RT615K+s. They run wide ,my 265s fit like PSS 275s. Plenty of grip and feel, and they handle water fairly well for an aggressive track/summer tire.

I had Falken RT615Ks (205/50-15) on my E30 318is and they were great - lasted at least a dozen track days with my Dad and I sharing the car. Never got hot enough to lose grip but the 318 is also a light car and had a lot of negative camber.
I just did 2 track days with new Falken RT615Ks (square 225/45-17) on my 128i. They felt best when kept below 38 PSI hot and did start to lose grip if I overdrove the car for a lap or 2 and got them really hot. First 2 sessions of the weekend were in the rain and they were good there also. Combine the good wet + dry performance, feedback characteristics and relatively lower cost and I think they are an excellent track tire that can still be comfortably used on the street. Mark

Mine have treated me well on track so far. That said I wasn't pushing them to their limits. We'll see how they hold up this season. First weekend of the season is coming up in May.
