SOLVED!Car cranks, but won't start NO CODES AND BATTERY IS GOOD

Car suddenly died with no prior symptoms. Cranks but not starting. Scanned car with different scanners no codes. Checked ignition and fuel fuses all good, battery is good.

It's dead fuel pump and leaking Eccentric Shaft Sensor. Mine is 128i 2010 N51 120,000miles, so all BMW is covering under the SULEV warranty.

However, I have no idea why there's no codes.

Car is cranking over so its not the starter, usually it's either spark or fuel.

And they gave me 540i 2019 loaner I'm the first driver.

Must be the time of year for dead fuel pumps.

In 15 years, have only seen two. So far this week, I have seen 5! Not sure what is going on.

Wonder how many of those are running their tanks dry.

Results turned out great! While replacing the tank, fuel system and eccentric shaft sensor they found vanos bolts broken and they had to drop the oil pan to retrieve them which is good because my oil pan was leaking and I know they must install new gasket to do the vanos bolts job. So new valve cover and oil pan gaskets in order to do something covered under SULEV. I got to enjoy the 2019 540i for a week and got my car back without paying anything. Grateful!

Nice. Glad everything worked out.

On the 5 series loaner, I forgot which model I got was a loaner when I had my car at the dealer. The SA thought I would love driving that car around. I hated every minute of it. Never mind the car being a very big car with all the stuff that comes along with a land yacht. But if I drove that car longer than 20 minutes, the seat would cause sever lower back pain for me. I tried all sorts of seat adjustments but nothing would make me comfortable in that car. The kicker was when I had to take a long drive in the car which was about an hour to hour and a half one way. I thought I was going to scream in pain when I climbed out of the car.

I only got a loaner once or twice when my car was under warranty. It was always something bigger but I never liked it as well as my e88. I have driven box trucks before so I can drive bigger vechicles but I do not want to. I prefer smaller vehicles. When I did M school (2011) the smallest was the M3 (V8) and I liked it by far the best. The M5 and M6 are very nice cars but they did not seem as much fun to run around a track.

When you drive a 1 series, some people assume you drive that because you are cheap or didn't have the money for something larger. At least in my case, that is not true. I am kind of cheap but if I had wanted a bigger BMW I would have just purchased it (I cheap out on the extras like comfort access). I bought what I wanted.
