You're kidding...$800 for that??

I was seriously considering this, but if that's the price there's no way..

The aftermarket for this car is so sad. You can get TURBO back exhausts for this price on other cars.

This is my exhaust of choice at the moment but my commitment to the sale is dependant on price... $800 just seems to steep and everyone here tends to agree.

Dropping the price by $200 would seem a lot more reasonable and secure a lot more interest. I would be happy to pay $600 for this product.

I wouldn't pay a penny more than $600 for this..Most muffler shops can do something comparable for less than half that cost.

Any drive by or rev-from-behind-the-car videos? And $800 is way too steep...unless this is the absolute best sounding exhaust for the 135i!

although i agree that all axel back exhaust are over priced for this platform, i dont think this one is more over priced than other, Meisterschaft axel back sells for bout that much and Dinan is more expensive

but dont get me wrong, if i had $800 for an exhaust it wont be AA, its def gonna be Meisterschaft or Dinan, love the sound of the Meisterschaft and absolutely love the look of the Dinan and i think paired w/ a custom mid-pipe it can sound as good as the Meisterschaft

$800 haaha....these companies think they can just put a high price and because it's for a bmw we have to pay more.....it's probably the same quality as an aftermarket exhaust for a volkswagen or audi that u can get for 4 to 500 bucks...... you would think in this economy they would try to work with you.. but hey i guess im no buisnessman......i dont know what im talking bout.

Guys I had this exhaust on my Miata: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...t/11-1004.html

Let me tell you this was the BEST quality exhaust I have ever purchased. It is custom made for the Miata by a small-volume US retailer that has a great deal of respect within the Miata community. A LOT of R&D has gone into this exhaust. I had version 1 on my car back in the day and the welds, pipework and finish were flawless. And look at the price: $299!

So what people are saying here about being ripped blind by the aftermarket because we have a BMW is so true.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see who actually forks out $800 for this. I personally think the exhaust is great and I love the sound, but if it's $800 I'm in no hurry to get it, in the mean time something better will probably come along anyway.

Yup I agree, until AA confirms/denies that price, there's no sense in jumping there shit. However, I hope AA takes into consideration the reactions of people if it IS listed at that price.

The manufacturer reckons it makes around +40wHP. That's as much as some tunes like the SSTT/JB+. It is not impossible if the stock BMW exhaust is very restrictive but it is pretty suprising for just an exhaust. BTW I just read this thread on E90 about a 335i that dynoed with a HKS full exhaust (they say it is the best performing exhaust for the 335i) and it gained +13wHP.

definitely no more than 400 for an axleback. sounds good tho, might pick one up when I get my car. anything higher and i could imagine most would rather go custom or go with more full exhaust alternatives

ok now I am a HUGE AA fan and this WAS my top exhaust choice but $800 is just plain ridiculous for an AXLE back exhaust...come on active this is a joke

Sweet. There is still a glimmer of hope that this axel back may actually be reasonably priced
