I just had my eurospec xenon adaptives installed by the dealer here in Utah - they said it was direct plug - no problems with the hookup.....I was a little confused only because of the problems Long said he had with his. But looking for further explanation on Monday when I can talk to the service guy that actually did the work. BTW - I absolutely love them!!!!
