Hi all,
It's been an issue with some of us out there having an acceleration lag (hesitant) after decelerating.
Well my car had this for a long time.
I had the lovely plastic charge pipe replaced for the second time and now the car has next to no lag at all.

Prompted BMW to what they exactly did and they said a straight pipe replacement only.

Funny thing is that the first time the charge pipe broke and replaced by BMW the lag was there but never heard any discharge air leaking.

So that's my 2 cents on this issue. Check for upper deck discharge air induction leaks.

Interesting to hear this. I have a ER charge pipe waiting to go in, was under the impression this would not affect anything. Guess I'll report back with my findings.

are you referring to the shift bog that many 6 speed cars suffer from?

i have shift bog and lag on acceleration after deceleration/sometimes regular acceleration....sounds like i need to check my charge pipe and intake. i have an active autowerkes charge pipe but possible it needs to be adjusted. good post thx
