North GA mountain run interest?
I've got a few friends who are interested in doing a mountain run in the next few weekends while the weather stays relatively cool and the there aren't as many motorcycles out.
Got a couple of questions: 1. Anyone from the boards interested in joining us? We'll work out the logistical details later but we'll probably plan on heading up there pretty early on a SAT or SUN morning, doing some runs before breaking for lunch and then heading back to ATL and possibly having dinner together. 2. Recommended routes? I've heard that GA State Route 348 (Richard B. Russel highway) is pretty nice till you get to Helen. Not sure if people would be up for going all the way to deal's gap for just one day but we could always crash at Dan P's house overnight I guess  3. Any other things to consider?

I'd be up for it, but the next 3-4 weeks are going to be jam packed with Spring Break coming up and a few weekend trips. Let me know the day you decide and Ill see if I can make it.

I can't go this weekend or the next one. 14 hour enduro @ VIR already on the schedule for the last weekend of the month. After that I should be able to get away. If it works out you guys are welcome to stop by my place for punch and pie (and a clean bathroom). I'm 1 mile off 129 just 8 miles north of Blairsville. My house is about 1 hour from Deals Gap if you want to make the trek up. I try to avoid that place on the weekends since the last close call with a line crossing Harley.

I may be able to go, but it would have to be a few weeks out. Have a scope surgery on my knee (hopefully my last surgery) this Friday...so I'd need a little recoupe time. I'm itching to go for a long drive though...and so is the car.
