Turned the US dash into an accurate Km/h dash!

Easy peasy. Thanks iminhell1 for the hint on how to make it accurate.

Picked up Kisenwether's rear 135i brakes, hubs, knuckles, etc.

Now for the fun and exciting challenge of retrofitting them to my 128i. Paging Suprgnat!

Axles. You're going to need pre-LCI 135i automatic (Type 188L diff) axles.
33207580945 Left
33207580946 Right.

They're also found on a variety of E9X pre-LCI and LCI cars.

Other than that, it's a straight bolt on.

It's the 1M style, without the grey area and M logo. I found it cleaner and easier to see things, without being snob.

Thank you.

Also, be careful threading the bolts that connect the control arms and wishbones to the wheel carrier. They will gall and seize to the wheel carrier if you're not careful. Chasing the threads and cleaning everything up beforehand helps. If you can't get the bolts to seat with your fingers, stop and re-assess. Don't grab a socket and ratchet. Do a better job of aligning the wheel carrier threads with the control/wishbone arm holes.

IMHO

The PDR guy stopped by the dealership today. I asked him to have a look at a couple of door dings on the 128 that have been bugging me. I wanted to get some pics, but it was busy (tire season)...before I knew it, he was just about done.

It's pretty cool what these guys can do with a pick, a heat gun, and a touch of wet sanding.

Well boys love the way my car looks with the murdered out tint. But after getting pulled over twice in a week, it's gotta go.Thankfully the officers were gracious and let me off with a warning and a nice compliment regarding the car.

Decided to just pull the tint where it matters " the sides" even though I never liked the looked of a car with a mullet'esk tint job party in the back business in the front look. I feel with it being so dark in the back and having black interior adding just minimal shade to the front might look ok. Let's hear some feedback/suggestions from you guys regarding.

Took about 2hrs to remove both sides most of that time spent removing the glue.

Tools needed:
Heat gun
3m adhesive remover
Razor blades
Micro fiber rags
Soft bristle brush to get in the cracks "falling dried glue"
And to finish it off windex or glass cleaner of your choice.

Too funny... I'm considering the same thing, but for the opposite reason! I've got the light tint and really want darker, just won't pay to have it removed so it's up to me...

It's easy to remove it by yourself.
I had to do it when moving to a province that didn't allow any tint.

All I used was a clothes steamer and a razor/Xacto knife. Wipe with a cloth.

Spent the weekend working on Little Red, the 2011 128i I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Cleaned the engine/engine compartment, peeled the bubbling tint off the rear window, cleaned/sanded/Hyper-dipped the roof rails (plus all new clips - most of the old clips broke when I pulled them off), installed pedal covers, changed the cabin air filter, pulled out the airbox and put in one that already has the carbon filter delete (originally off of my 2010 E91 pulled for a Euro airbox).

So, busy weekend. Just ordered rotors and pads so will do those sometime in the next couple of weeks. Then, struts and shocks, maybe rear axle shafts and figuring out the ABS issue. Just having fun giving this little car some TLC after what appears to have been some hard years.

I had to do this on my GTI. I don't want to call the law stupid, because I see why it's in place but at the same time it is ridiculous because we like the way our cars look too!

But the half tint does go well with your car and it definitely is because of the black interior. Loving the setup you got!

Cleaned the wheels and washed the car the other day. Yesterday I applied powerlock paint sealant and today I will apply collinite 845.

The M-class is also getting the same treatment, except it also was clayed and had Gtechniq G1 applied to the glass. I have to get it ready for winter!
