N55 135I 2013 exhaust

Im looking for more volume on my car has anyone personally done a muffler delete? Is it too loud and drony?

Id get the downpipe but I don't want to tune the car.

Resonator and Muffler delete is pretty nice, not too loud casually driving until you step on it.

I didn't go muffler delete first as I went both resonator and muffler and I didn't regret it! once you add the Downpipes it is crazy loud but I just deal with it!

I got a $50 electric cutout kit from eBay, had a shop weld it in for $70, and did the wiring/install myself. It sounds amazing when open (also catless) and very mild when closed. It's installed right before the muffler.

With it open you get some wonderful turbo spool noises too.

I have the n55 135 2013 so that wouldn't work, I'm also looking for the most cost effective solution, I'm trying not to spend as much as I used too on mods haha.

A high flow catted downpipe will be louder without requiring the tune. I'd try that first before you go 'loud'
