Your signature says nothing about meth injection but your settings in the JB4 software show active meth values.

Which is it? Meth or no meth?

Try posting over on that N54 Technology forum (shorten technology to 'Tech' in your google search). That's where most of the true JB4 support will be available.

Then you have to turn off all of those methanol toggles and set all meth values to zero. Steering wheel menu #9 also shows up in the Android app. Right now it’s set to 40, make it 0.

Try that for starters.

That's interesting, I'm getting some custom tunes done and they ask me to set certain values for meth. Even tough I have no meth.

For instance,

Meth safety = 3
Meth trigger = 3
Meth scaling = 99

Different setting for another tuner. 0, 0, 60

But not running meth? I would think they'd all be "0"

Here's the thread for E N55:

https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13189

Read the first two posts to get all the info on setting up a base starting point.

Do you have a new JB4 or did you buy a used one? I see that you have the latest firmware but an old board (without cutting a diode on that board) will not work.

I also have a 2012 135i and I've been through a lot with JB4. It wasn't until this January that I sorted things out by buying the latest board and upgrading my harness (I did not have the fuel pressure sensor wires).

You can't expect it to work well without the current hardware.

hello

its an old board but with the diode cutted, changed and tried all things in 10, 11 and 12 settings,

10 3000
11 0
12 2500

Took out the jb4 and the same problem, cil 2 misfire, changed the coil from cil 2 to 1, and the same problem, changed the spark plug, used a new one, the problem disappear.....

Sold the JB4 to a friend and he is happy NO PROBLEMS WITH HIM,

but......

changed all sparks-plugs and ok, installed other JB4, bought used from a member in here, the new old JB4, gave me the same problems so iam starting to think is an injector....

2EFE misfire several cil
2F00 cil 2 misfire
2EE0 combustion misfire
2EE7 combustion misfire cil 2
2C83 boost pressure sensor, overboots
2C58 boos pressure control deactivation

here the picture of the removed number 2 park plug and the new old JB4

I do not have JB4 but I bet it is the injectors or your HPFP. Happened to me, had your same symptoms.

Hope it helps.

See post 12 here: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...ighlight=codes

These are the codes I had which ended up being the HPFP.

hi, used the car just in manual, running over 3500 rpm, above that was a problem, but suddenly, all went south, took to the shop, and had to change 2 injectors, 1 spark plug, we think 1 injector was bad, and because i still was using the car, 1 spark went wrong, but because i had misfire in cil 1 and 2 had to change both injector, bought 2 used ones... now everything is ok... for now,

If you had the issue with the JB4 uninstalled then the JB4 is not the issue.

As suggested in the post above, search Google for "n54 jb4 forum" without the quotes and click the first result, there is a screenshot of default values there.
