And how do you review the difference now? does the car feel more agile and does the steering feel more direct ?

PS : please tell me you're on PSS and no longer the RFT because if i go for aftermarket wheels i'll surely dump the RFT's

cheers!
I really don't know yet, yesterday i got wheels and summer tyres under the car and there is snow and there is freeze -2 C so have to be carefull when driving. Steering feels more direct.
One thing i notice that car looks better than winter tyres

I have Falken 452 tyres. No RFT
Front 225/40R18
Rear 245/35R18

Gill's recommendation should be enough for anyone, but ever since those couple horror stories from 2 years ago I never noticed anyone else on the forum complaining about them.
.
This is embarrassing now because I cant remember who you are. Sorry!

But there is nothing to disagree with. They have poor quality control. I never said that all of their wheels are bad but they do let bad ones through. Many people have had cracked Breytons over the years. You can look all of this up.

Lol, it's okay man. I get usernames and people confused. I'll give you a hint.. I'm on the Tri-State FB group, but I never go to meets because I'm a lazy fuck. And I just got new wheels and posted them on there. And my front license plate is permanently fucked up

Contacted Advan Australia today and it appears the hyper silver RZ is a good 15% more expensive than the dark gunmetal colour.

Silver is lighter? haha

A highly over looked wheel are the Forgestar f14's. They're extremely light and I track with them a lot. Gotten nothing but compliments on my wheels and 18lbs a wheel are extremely light for an 18" wheel. I have mine wrapped in PSS's. Sorry for the crappy photo but you get the idea.

Sick Wheels indeed bro!

A quick Review will be highly appreciated, steering response, does it communicate way better than stock ? do you really feel the difference due to the unsprung weight on bumps and braking etc,,??

Plus if you could share your setup : Offset , Semi concave or deep concave etc,,, and the tire size

Cheers!

I really should. I just hate waking up early. Ugh. But that's not an excuse. Next reasonable meet that doesn't actually interfere with my schooling I will go to. There's really no excuse since I quit my job lol. You can all see my dirty-ass broken-bumpered, scratched up, beauty of a car.

Sorry I kind of made this whole thread pretty off-topic. So yeah. Lightweight wheels. Woooo

Forgestars are nice. And not much more expensive than Breytons. If anyone's worried about Breyton quality (which I still maintain they shouldn't be), Forgestars are a nice choice and only a small step up in price.

They 18 x 8.5 and a 9.5 rear; et 46 and et56 (best remembered); they have a bit of concavity to them, more than the apex's i've seen in person, but less than anything you can run on a 3 series. I run a 225/255 setup although i could go a 235 up front and 275 rear. On a stock setup i had no rubbing issues at all. Now i'm lowered on kw v2's and running -2.5 in the front -1.5 in the rear and still no issues. I track the car a bunch and they've with stood the abuse with no issues.

Performance wise its hard to tell on the butt meter. You will however notice immediately that steering is much lighter (in a good way) and combined with the m3 lca's communicates very well. You'll notice a massive difference in weight from stocks with rft's to these with pss's when swapping them out...i want to say about 15lbs a wheels. If i remember right, every pound of unsprung weight you remove is equal to 4lbs of sprung weight.

Garage List

actually in the case of wheels and tires it's rotating mass which if remember correctly it's like 10 to 1
