What did you do to/for your 1er today?

I started to have issues with the 'stop sign' pull off lag and hesitation when A/C on, 2011 135i, I applied the MHD stage 1+ and now have no problems with hesitation or any funkiness when the A/C is on. Fixed it plus BAM! I love this car!

Only took me about 4 hrs but finally wrestled the valve cover off to inspect vanos gears. All 4 bolts on the intake gear sheared off. I found one bolts laying around, the rest are hopefully chillin in the oil pan. Exhaust gear is ok.

I got new wheels (VMR 703)! Love them but...

...suddenly I get TPMS Inactive and ABS warning lights in dashboard. Any thoughts? Where did the shop go wrong?

Wheel speed sensor? Or they simply forgot to move over the tire pressure monitor?

Mine isn't in the recall batch for this, but it does make me want to pull the VCG to inspect. Not "4 hours" and "wrestled" much, but... Good that you did it and fingers crossed for those other 3 "just" being in the oil pan.

thank you! the valve cover is a bit more painful than it is on the e46 platform. I think I could half the time now that I know what I need to do.

New old stock. Manu date is 10/12.
It's a factory BMW Performance Exhaust.

Recently had the same after hitting a pot hole. It was a bad speed sensor. Have the codes checked. Probably a coincidence

Yep- that Christmas tree effect is a classic result of a wheel speed sensor going south. Codes can tell you which

My experience says to replace em all- I had one fail, swapped just that one, and less than 48 hours later I was doing the rear also, like they were too far apart in readings with new & old trying to combine...

Got all the hoses I ordered in too, all ready to be installed.

Just wish I was home to install any of it....

Back home by Wed, hopefully get it all back in by this weekend so I can get it back on the road!!
