I like to know what equipment I need to get in order to have that "Shark-fin Antenna"??? Does it come with the Nav?

Another question is...the 2006 325 engine, is this a new engine or has it been in other BMW models before?

Please advice, I would love to know before I order one...thx!!!

That antenna comes with them all, no special options required. The engine is new. And seeing that you're in Boston, consider Foreign Motors West instead of Herb Chambers BMW.

if you get the bmw assist you will get the shark-fin antenna also the 325 engine is totaly new engine for both 325 and 525.

I thought you don't get the shark fin if you don't have BMW assist? I doubt they install it on all cars.

Some people are saying you need to get the BMW Assist for the shark-fin antenna??? I'm confused!

Yea..Herb Chamber SUCKS...I know. So how much you pay for your E90? Any discounts????

I dont have BMW Assist & I have the antenna...I thought it came with the Satellite radio prep?

Satellite radio prep, BMW assist, and/or nav will get you the antenna. Basically anything that has to communicate with a space based system. New engine this year, same engine comes in both the 325 and 330.

I repeat the "shark fin" comes with all cars in the states. I have none of the options listed and I have it.

Are you guys sure about that? I am 100% sure I've seen pics of the E90 without the shark fin somewhere here on the forum. This was a while ago...probably back in March or April. I'll look to see if I can find anything about it.

But yeah, the engine is brand new...made of the same super light materials (magnesium, et al) as in the 6 series.

So it's basically added weight if your car doesn't have Nav/BMW Assist/Satellite radio? Or is it the radio antenna as well?

it must be the radio antenna as well because there isn't a regular antenna. I have the fin and none of the otehr options people are listing
