Nice, did you use Phoenix yellow or just something close? Been wanting to do the same on mine with the G2 caliper paint

It was actually g2 caliper paint lol I'll give you a heads up you'll get better results by just pulling them and rattle canning them. It takes nearly 3 kits to get solid coverage on these calipers with the yellow if you don't want brush marks.

As I was driving this morning, I never bothered to check or ask this question since I don't drive my 1er in the winter.

But does the 1er come with heated sideview mirrors?

Yes, they're automatic

Nah, not my style really. I ordered another revozport style one. I think they fit the cars style a lot better. If I wasn't in fear of road debris I'd probably go Varis or Vorsteiner

Cool

I parked next to friends. I still don't know where/if this site has a main picture gallery page & nothing shows up when I add to my garage so I'll just add pictures to threads.

In Germany these are very common. Spotted 5 just near a grocery store so I parked in between two of them & took this picture (did it for the thread). A hatch which the US didn't get & a convertible.

Nice!!! If the 5 door hatch was there too, then you would have had all 4 variants of the 1er!

No way I could have a CF lip here, would have already destroyed it due to debris in the road I'm forced to drive through/over multiple times.

Whereas the LTWT lip just chuckles at everything that hits it.

Finally got around to slapping some rubber on the wheels I bought on Black Friday.
  • Apex Arc-8 Hyperblack, 8.5 | 9.5 staggerd
  • Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, 235/40ZR/18 | 265/35ZR/18

And I got a whole box of TCKline goodies and M3 control arms ready to bolt up this weekend.

Hopefully you didn't pull a me and realized too late the tc's don't include the 12mm upper shock mount : really put a damper on my day. No pun intended
