HPFP warranty extended for Model Year '07 & '08

any of the N54 equipped vehicles with a manufacture year of '07 or '08 will now have the HDP (HPFP) covered for 10 years or 120,000 miles.

watched BMW's round table today and this is what they mentioned. just thought everyone would want to know...

fantastic. thanks for the notice.

This makes me happy as I do not put on too many miles each year. I had visions of the HPFP crapping out at year 4 + 1 day.

BMW did a great job of taking care of this issue by extending warranty coverage on this part. I don't put a lot of miles on my 135, so I was concerned with the limited duration of the standard coverage.

cool! also maybe this is why there is no TSB or recall- because they just cannot get the damn thing right, so they are just opting to continually replace it with more faulty ones!

^ if that's the case, then it'd suck for BMW... how many fuel pump can they replace for free... Also suck for those who wants big power on the N54.
