Another 1m accident

It looks like there are a lot of BMW's in that clip. One of the last cars has the tri-color scheme painted on it (you can see it in the last frame). I also thought I saw a Phoenix Yellow E46 M3 in there. Was this some type of club event that went full-retard on public streets?

That blue e34 lane-changed like an idiot... forcing the speeding PY e46 m3 wide which in turn (from what it looks like) oversteered heavily and hit the front of the camera car. Poor 1M was an innocent bystander

that's interesting...they're ALL or at least most BMW's (pay close attention). was this at an event of some sort? there was a BSM 1er behind or close to the 1M. i thought it was another 1M, but the wheels look more like a 1er.

Must have been a BMW treffen, because too coincidental to have that many BMW's flocked together in that clip.

Note that the hazards are activated of both VO 1Ms (the one that got hit as well as the one that escaped trouble), the BSM 1er and the Phoenix Yellow E46 M3. Driving like that in a group makes it a tad more difficult for the other road users to guess the lane changes. Maybe they had just left from a meeting point, or it was meant as sign for other road users to move over ...or simply to make clear that they could change lanes in whatever direction ?

All in all the outcome could have been much worse for the unfortunate VO 1M.

Looks like an innocent accident to me. Looks as if they were going to line up but the PY e46 pulled up faster than anticipated .Totally sucks for all!

I would maybe disagree. The blue e34 probably looked, saw a clearance, gave his turn signal while the PY M3 sped up into his blind spot, lane changed, passing him on the RIGHT and then lost control smashing into the car with the camera and so on causing a chain reaction....it was the aggressive driving of the PY M3 that caused all of this IMO.

Furthermore, it looks like the VO 1M got unfortunately sandwiched between the blue filming car and an AW E9X M3 that was overtaking at high speed on the ultimate left lane. Sitting duck. You can hear the impact of the M3 hitting the 1M and notice that front fenders on both sides of the VO 1M got indeed damaged. Looks unhealthy for the mechanical parts of wheels and suspension.
