Hi guys, I'm confused about to choose a correct tires size, I need to replace the 4 tires, my car have 18x8 (4 wheels) currently I'm using 225/40R18 tires, I would like a staggered setup, I was thinking 235/40 front and 245/40 rear, can you give me your opinions?

The fronts should be fine, but may rub a little depending on your wheel offset. For the rears, it's better to go with 245/35 as it's closer to the OEM diameter

What offset are your wheels? Our cars need a pretty high offset in the rear, usually around 45-50 which can be hard to find.

That is quite aggressive, a 245 will rub on large bumps most likely. They will physically fit on the rim, but the rubbing is the issue.

As a comparison, the stock rear offset with 18x8.5" wheels is 52...your wheels are a lot more aggressive than that so you may need to stick with 225 especially if the car is lowered at any point.

First, that is the most awkward angle on that wheel. It looks to be missing spokes.

Second, why would you want to stagger tire widths? There is zero benefit in it.

According to the Apex Race Parts site you can fit 18x8.5" ET45 with 235/40-18 tires on all 4 wheels with stock suspension. (5mm spacer needed for some aftermarket suspension)

The 18x8 et 35 will have 16mm more inner clearance and extend out an extra 4mm. Which looking at the picture might be what you have. If so the 235/40R18 should fit. I thought about running that set up but I have a 135 and didn't want to downsize the rear tires.

As noted above running a square set up is better for tire life, wear & handling. Staggered is for looks or if you need more rear grip. With an et35 wheel though the 245 is probably too wide. The 235/40 should be ok and hopefully won't rub on the outter fender.

Are you sure they are 18" wheels? The M2 style wheels are 19"?

The 4 wheels are 18x8, with a few more width in the rear tire I think looks better, other inconveniences are the currently tires, are friendly with the curve rash, the tire are too stretched to be 225.

My best guess you could fit 235/40 front & 245/40 rear, but to be honest the 245s are only 0.3" wider (0.762 cm). Personally I'd go 235/40 square to be able to rotate them.
