WTB 128i MT Coupe

All the other car buying sites have failed me so I've come to you guys for help. I can't find a manual 128i coupe within 500 miles of me. Too many of these dealerships are listing their 'shiftable automatics' as a manual transmission

Requirements : 128i, manual, coupe

Preferred, but not necessary: Sport seats, sport suspension, heated seats, under 60k miles, LCI

I'm flexible on color but would prefer either black or white.

Located in San Diego but willing to travel for the right car! Thanks in advance

Willing to travel to Canada?

Its an 08, very low mileage [56K], not winter driven, US$8850

I own one, not selling, this one probably could be shipped to you easily

Oops; looking at engine pic, strut bolts do look like they have rust. Not good, mine are perfect @ 60K miles

I wonder how desirable the 128i will become. Obviously it will never reach 1M or E30 M3 status, but there weren't that many made (certainly not with MT) and the general consensus is that the E82 was the last pure-ish BMW.

I believe it was. I believe 128i M-spot models were made than 135is models, and less 135is models were made than the 1M. Though in relation to holding their value, the order is in reverse. With that said I believe all 3 will hold some kind of value over the other variants.

That said, if you are reading this and own an any e82, take care of it. It's a special car that I believe is the pinnacle of BMW engineering. It represents a collection of features that we may no longer see on future BMW cars. The best of the best, and the last.

This is encouraging I suppose, I'm considering selling mine once the dealer completes the blower motor recall work.

My 128i will be posted for sale this weekend. 2008 6MT sport package, Sedona red exterior, black interior, 145k miles, exterior has some paint issues (chips, peeling clear on plastic parts) but interior is in good shape, has some maintenance needs for oil leaks. Perfect for a cheaper daily or track project. I’ll be asking $7,500.
