+1 (alpine white) but in the different variations

* Chrome slats & shadowline frame
* Black Slats & Chrome Frame
* Don't need to see stock as I can see that in my Garage.

Thanks in advance!!

Just did the swap on my Jet Black 135. I was somewhat worried it would be too much black, but it looks great. In pictures, the black on black looks bland, but in person it's evil. Now I might have to get tint as well.

Also, having the hook tool is crucial. It would have been a huge pain in the ass to remove those lower clips without it.

As I said, pictures don't do it justice, but I can throw some up if you guys want.

I just put 128i grills on mine. Now it looks like a BMW (to me). No need for pics as it looks exactly like the one on page 1 since it's montego.

The guide was very helpful - thanks!

Sorry if the pics are a touch big. These are the ones I can get to right now. If they end up breaking the tables I'll fix it in a bit.

I ordered from one of the vendors that posts here, who had a decent price. They're official BMW parts, so they feel about the same quality as the ones that came off. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

I will say again, be sure to get the recommended tools; it helps more than you might expect.

Less that 20 minutes from opening the hood to closing it. I'm almost embarrassed to call it "DIY". Used the Craftsman hook & pick set (941513) @ $7.99 at your local Sears. (They were out of the KD Tools set.) Thanks for the instructions!

I got lucky and saw a set of cheap tools including the right angle tool at a Jeep dealership while having the wife's Liberty in for some work, and got them for $3. Thanks to those and this DIY, changing out my grilles was a snap.

I went with black rims/black slats for now, but might try the chrome slats inside black rims soon.

Agree, easy install if you have a right angle tool. Thanks for the instructions and it took me about 30 to 45 minutes. I think the Shadowline Grills on the AW looks HOT!
