The need to re-start the car several times (including at intersections) to get the halos powered defeats any of the cosmetic beneifts of having this kit... Maybe the wires used in the kit are really really cheap, dunno really, but from a reliability standpoint, it is nothing what was marketed...
And why wouldnt you PM me for a solution?

I have in the past, and your suggestion to re-route wires to new ground was adopted, yet yielded no positive effect.

I am simply trying to get a feel if mine is the 'outlier' relative to other people's experience. Looking for a solution, while also sharing my experience to date. This is a forum where positive critisism should be expected, nothing wrong with sharing views/opinions, no?

Sure, I'll PM you provided you can render a solution (for my case at least) that proves to work. Do you have new harnesses that may cure the issue? You can see prior posts of mine, I have been positive on things that have merit (prompt shipping, imaculate packaging, seemingly great fit and finish and OEM like application, etc.) But you got to take the good along with the bad. Bottom line is, the product that I have (and I emphazise "I" because I could have a defective one), does not work as promised nor advertized. Looking for a solution, not all-out war with its vendor.

I have the new harness (I think) and it works flawlessly.

I'm glad I didn't end up trying these. Seems like there are problems with some of the kits and no response or solution from the vendor. Did you guys get this straightend out yet?

Ofcourse man, new kits are flawless, we have changed the wiring, ballasts, and bulbs. This has just been a dead thread for sometime, I might start a new group buy soon, just short on material.

That's cool that everyone was taken care of. A friend of mine has a AE HID kit for his 135 (Not sure if it is the same one you sell) but his is so bright that it tends to blind people, including myself when he was behind me awhile back. How does your kit compare, because I would hate to be "that guy".

Hey Alex,

please PM a price on the 6,000K versions, to Sydney Australia.

IIRC, the 6,000K lamps are very close in colour temperature to the OEM headlight xenon lamps, is that correct?

Lastly is there anything available between the 6,000K and 8,000K lamps?

Cheers,

Justin.

MEA CULPA Alex, I never posted about the HIDs

Came up to LA with samleeyy and had Alex install them for me. I am parting with them now on the 135 but will put them back on the 1M when it's here for sure! Here are some pics. Totally worth the money guys. These are amazing!

Alex, can you please PM me to resolve my well documented issues. I have tried reaching you several times, via PM and in this thread. I am sure you have resolved the issues in your latest offering, but as one of your early customers I have to deal with the daily frustration of having these lights fail on me...
