Pretty set on coral red int. I reall dig how the marrakess brown looks and wanted to be a bit bold w/ color choice. and dont say i should get marrakesh brown w/ brown int, cus then it will really look like poop hahahaha! all comments and opinions are welcome OFC.

I've never seen that color combination before, and since you haven't pulled the trigger yet I'll be honest - I wouldn't do it. Unless you plan on keeping the car forever, you are going to have to sale that brown, and red 1'er. The market for that color combination has to miniscule.
Now if you post next week that you are taking delivery of it, I'll say congrats on the purchase, and post pics. jm2c.... |

Hmm, haven't seen it in person, but it looks good on the configurator. They're two warm tones, so they should work together just fine. If you like it, don't worry about selling it. I've never bought a car with the intent of what the next owner would want. When the next owner wants to help me pay for it, he can pick the colors.

Marrakech is a beautiful color, but would look silly with a red interior... if you do decide to go that route, save face and tint the windows DARK. I think Marrakech on lemon would look fantastic! Also, if a dealer has it in stock, they're desperate because nobody else would even consider that color combo... that's the sort of car that sits on the lot for years before it sells.

OP - I don't know about that color combo either. I don't think it would work. Does BMW even let you build the car in that combo?
You can try searching on Google.de for that color. This is how its spelled in German... "marrakeschbraun bmw" http://www.google.de/search?q=marrak...Q&ved=0CBsQsAQ Dackel |

I kinda liked that brown color, especially when the sun hit it. It looks better in person than it doesn in pictures. Mercedes has a similar color as well in Europe.

If that's the color of the X1 (seen at BMW NA), then I can't stop thinking of this little ditty (if you went to an ivy league school sing along)
What's the color of horse shit? Brown, Brown, Brown

10 years from now, and wear and tear on the paint, that thing is going to look like Buick brown...not BMW brown.

dont knock brown. Marrakesh Brown is the most populer X1 color right now! At least according to the BMW engineer I spoke with in Munich. I asked when the X1 will come to the US. It is such a popular car, they can't build enough for the rest of the world yet.
