I just picked up mine this weekend .. ordered from Tire Rack on Monday, and they arrived at CBI (in Niagara Falls) on Tuesday.

I ended up with the SE A7s and the Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 in 215/45-17. After all was said and done, $1400 CAD.

I had the same ones ordered as magha and just picked them up but I went for the 225\45\17 ws-60's. They look nice!

Been trying to find a low profile jack locally but no luck so far

I have this Canadian Tire low profile aluminium jack that is high quality and sometimes goes on sale for quite a bit less than the list price. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...ium%2BJack.jsp

Thanks for the recommendation, hope it goes on sale in the next couple of weeks...! The non low profile ones seem to be quite a bit cheaper but this should be lighter and looks better built too.

magha I want to see how they look too, although I am not ready for the cold yet

i was wondering if any of you get the tpms with the winter rim/tire sets or just move them from your summer setup?

Thanks

We don't use tpms in Canada so you don't need to buy or move anything over

hey ronster hope you're wrong tire rack's preferred package is the same tire size but with a 7.5mm width so im hoping the .5 mm doesn't make that big a difference!

Has anyone installed their tires yet? It's suppose to go down to 0C next week in Toronto, at least overnight, so I'm wondering if it's getting too cold for the Potenzas. I can't find any information on what temperature we should be taking them off.

I'm doing mine today! I'm interested to see how the ride is now. It was really slick last night on wet slick leaf covered back roads. Needless to say I did have the traction control off a bit

Do you already have a floor jack? I have a good floor jack but it is too tall for my 135. However, I have a high tech modification. I have two peices of 2x6 that are about a fot long. I drive the front tires on those. Now my jack fits fine. There is enough room for my normal sized jack to easily fit under the front and rear jack points.

I don't have a jack yet, but that sounds like it would work

I was waiting to see if anything went on sale this week, if it doesn't next week I will buy whatever looks best - so far the low profile at cdn tire, but then again using your technique I could possibly get the Michelin one. The michelin one says 5½" - 14" I think the motomaster one linked to earlier is 3.5".

7C / 45F is the temperature at which most tyre manufacturers say that winter rubber compounds grip better than summer or all-season compounds. Normally sometime in October or early November is the right time to change over in Canada.

I picked mine up in the 1, ended up with 1 in the trunk and 3 on the back seat with the seats folded down, all fit in no problem. That was for the 17" snows with 225x45 tires, I don't think the 18's would be an issue but haven't tried them.

I put the stock 18's in the trunk/back with the seats folded down, not too much of a problem.

Is TPMS different from tire pressure sensor?

I've just bought my tire from tire rack and they automatically added it to my tire set.

Hope they knew what they were doing.

let me know
