E85 thoughts..
What are your thoughts on running E85? The manual says not to, but my JB4, DPs, FMIC, DCI, and lead foot say YES! YES! YES!..
Im talking 50/50 93/e85 Is this bad to do as a summer daily driver with my mods? |

Should be fine brah, could shit out a fuel pump though if you play too much. The only thing I worry about with e30-40 is the life of my clutch because everything else is warrantied.

Mine popped off quite a bit when it was stock. Quite the crippling little bug, dangerous too if you're in the middle of a pull/takeover and it pops.

When done properly...you can get numbers like this. Mustang dyno running a bunch of goodies and 50/50 e85 and 91. Custom tune using a Cobb Access Port.

I ran 50% e85 a few times at the track and my charge pipe was fine. I was seeing 16.5psi in map 5 with my jb4 Iso and no other mods. The charge pipe will be my next mod, since its such a common problem, and i wouldnt want to be driving around with a boost leak.

I'm honestly surprised you haven't blown your charge pipe off with all those mods and targeting such high boost levels. It's worth it to do. I myself am toying with the idea of running E85 I'm still nervous about doing it as my car is out of warranty soon and I don't want a fuel pump crapping out on me. If I do I may run my cobb along with a JB G5 ISO to not hinder any performance.
